Experience:
Susan was admitted as a Solicitor (Hons) in 1965, and is a John Marshall Prize
Winner. Susan achieved the highest marks in the United Kingdom in the Solicitors'
Finals of 1964 in the Revenue and Equity and Succession papers. She is a member
of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and as a non-contentious lawyer,
undertakes work in the field of Commercial Property (including transactions of
substantial complexity), Residential Property, Landlord and Tenant, Business
Acquisitions and Disposal, Wills, Probate, Trusts and Attorneyship. Susan has
some forty years experience in acquiring and disposing of residential property
across the County.
Susan has undertaken the winding up of large and substantial estates, advised
on claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family & Dependants) Act 1975
and also dealt with Probate matters which have become litigious in conjunction
with her litigation department. Susan is a Trustee of a Private Girls' School,
and enjoys advising on matters relating to charities. Susan is also a Master
Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming and is a qualified Psychotherapist.
